What are 'seconds'?

Seconds are planks that just aren't as pretty. All of our 'seconds' grilling planks are made from the same food-safe material as retail planks, but they are heavily discounted to due slight visual imperfections, like small holes, a short split, cupping, rough faces or edges, or a mineral stain. You will never find any additives or chemicals on our grilling planks because they are made from all natural wood. We get you the same great quality plank for less, because they didn't make the retail cut.
