So...What's Swai? Swai is a river-dwelling catfish native to Asia. It's also called Pangasuis, Basa, and River Catfish. Swai has become a more popular fish option in North America in recent years because of its low price point ($2.00-$3.00/pound) and its tasty white flesh. I think it tastes a lot like catfish; better than tilapia. In short, it's a respectable fish, so we threw it on a plank and grilled it up, and grilled swai is pretty tasty!
