So...What's Swai? Swai is a river-dwelling catfish native to Asia. It's also called Pangasuis, Basa, and River Catfish. Swai has become a more popular fish option in North America in recent years because of its low price point ($2.00-$3.00/pound) and its tasty white flesh.
